Scientific Programme
The 23rd IAPD Congress Athens 2011 main theme is the "Interdisciplinary Approach to Paediatric Dentistry".
The evidence of the interrelation between the oral and the general health has resulted to the inclusion of paediatric dentistry among the specialties responsible for the effective total health care of the child, adolescent and the patient with special needs. In the context of the main theme of the Congress, professionals from different disciplines of dentistry and other health related disciplines will be able to show the importance of working together for the benefit of the child's health.
