Gunilla Klingberg, senior consultant in paediatric dentistry at Mun-H-Center, the Swedish National Orofacial Resource Centre for Rare Diagnoses in Gothenburg, and associate professor in paediatric dentistry at the Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Gunilla is specialist in paediatric dentistry since 1995, and completed her Ph D degree in paediatric dentistry the same year with the thesis Dental fear and behaviour management problems. A study of measurement, prevalence, concomitant factors, and clinical effects. Her research profile concerns orofacial aspects on rare disorders and medical conditions, behavioural sciences in odontology, pain, dental hard tissues, and qualitative research methods applied on dental sciences. A special focus is on patients’ perspectives on dental care. She has published over 50 scientific papers or chapters in text books. Gunilla was board member of IAPD 2003-2007, is presently on the board of the Swedish Society of Paediatric Dentistry, and president of the Swedish Dental Association.
