Details of the run: Early morning run, 9 km running, duration 60΄, pace: 6 min and 30sec/km.
Degree of difficulty: easy-medium degree of difficulty.
Meeting point: Zappeion Megaro at 6:45 a.m
Description of the Route: We start from Zappeion Megaro and run inside the National Gardens, past the Arch of Hadrian, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, we cross over to the pedestrian walkway of Dionysiou Aeropagitou and around the Acropolis. We pass the Theatre of Dionysus, the Acropolis Museum, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Temple of Hephaestus, the Ancient Agora, Kerameikos, Philopappos hill, Pnyx and Philoppapos Monument and finally back to Zappeion.
More information: The run is open for anyone to join in.
The temperature will be around 25 degrees C. It is advised that you should wear light sports clothing and a hat. Water will be available at the end of the run. You will be able to leave bags at the starting point for your return. If you wish to bring a camera, there will be certain points along the route where you can take photographs.
Transport to and from the meeting point: The meeting point is close to Syntagma Square and accessible by tram, metro, bus, or taxi.
You are advised that all participants run at their own risk, but first aid will be available if needed.
